The Weimaraner Club of the Tennessee Valley (WCTV) was established in July 2000 by a group of Weimaraner owners/enthusiasts in the Tennessee/Alabama area. We have members actively competing in Conformation, Agility, Obedience/Rally,Tracking, Field/Hunt Tests and WCA Ratings tests. In addition, we have several of our members that are active Weimaraner breeders. (Highlights of member participation in these events can be found in our member web pages.) Our club is recognized by the Weimaraner Club of America (WCA) and sanctioned by the American Kennel Club (AKC).
We actively support the local Humane Societies and Rescue groups, by participating in events such as the Huntsville Hunmane Society "Walk Your PAWS" and Dog Ball, as well as helping to transport rescue Weimaraners when called upon.
Above all else, we're pretty much about what is fun for the dogs!
